Welcome to Common Cup

Common Cup is the name given to the people from 15 United Methodist Churches in Greene county and Clinton county in southwest Ohio.  We are a people in covenant with each other to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  By working together through our Common Cup ministries we affirm our unity as the Body of Christ, celebrate our diversity as unique congregations, and work for the good of all people.  The Clergy of the Common Cup Churches are also invited to be part of the Common Cup Clergy Cluster Covenant.

Wednesdays are a special night for Common Cup from September through May.  On Wednesday nights our Food Court, which is open from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, offers a delicious selection of entrees, sides, and desserts.  After the meal guests may select from a variety of Growth Group opportunities for people of all ages.  We offer a weekly chapel service with Holy Communion, Bible studies, Kid’s Club, the Filling Station youth group, music, and basketball.

In addition to our Wednesday night program Common Cup offers the following fellowship and service ministries:

  • United Methodist Men’s group,

  • Mission trips to Red Bird Mission,

  • Special worship services,

  • Recreation teams, and

  • Local service opportunities.

Thank you for taking time to visit us on the web!  For more information, please contact any of the Common Cup churches.  God bless you!

The common cup has long been a symbol of our unity and our willingness to accept each other for fellowship and support in the local church. ("The Eucharistic Way" , John Baycroft)
